Mixed down from about 50 tapes recorded on 4 track during the year 2020. samplers, CDs, a few synths, pedals, tapes, general midi, field recordings, EMF, shortwave transmissions. Getting ever closer to recording and mapping my musical thought fantasies, though not quite there yet. A little too LOFI still, I like the tactile nature of using the 4 track but getting sick of the way it sounds. What's that quote about the music being compromised as soon as it leaves your head? Yeah, I'm trying to get beyond that.
